Google 於 16 日推出官方版 Google Play Music for iOS。

Google 於 16 日推出 Google Play Music for iOS，讓你在 iOS 上也有好用的免費雲端空間可以使用。不過目前 Google Play Music 仍未向台灣使用者開放申請，必須透過 VPN 取得美國 IP 後才可以使用。

Google 提供官方 Google Play Music for iOS 後，iOS 使用者就可以省下一筆 iTunes Match 的費用。Google Play Music 可以讓你免費儲存 20,000 首歌，並能在最多 10 個裝置上播放。

Google Play Music 可以和 iTunes 音樂庫同步。而現在從 iTunes Music Store 購買的音樂都沒有 DRM 限制，因此上傳 Google Play Music 也不會有問題。如此一來就解決了 Google Play 在台灣無法購買音樂的問題。

Google Play Music 具備所有 Android app 的功能，讓你可以不用同步，就可以到處享受自己的音樂庫。同時也可以透過網頁管理你的雲端音樂，包含播放列表等。不過有些功能還是在台灣無法使用，例如電台功能可以讓使用者以特定歌曲建立類似風格的電台，讓你可以無止盡聆聽喜歡的音樂，可惜這個功能似乎只有在美國可以使用，即使用了 VPN，在台灣也無法開啟電台功能。目前 Google Play Music for iOS 僅在美國 App Store 推出。
